Greenlee County Animal Control is charged with the enforcement of state law and
county ordinances regarding domestic animals with a focus on dogs and cats. There
are two Animal Control Officers serving Greenlee County. The Town of Clifton has
an Animal Control Officer responsible for that jurisdiction. The Town of Duncan
contracts with Greenlee County for Animal Control responsibilities.
Licensing Information
All dogs at least three months of age are required to be vaccinated against rabies
and to be licensed. Proof of rabies vaccination is required in order to obtain a
license. Licenses are available at the Greenlee County Animal Control Office at
840 S. Coronado Boulevard, Clifton, Arizona, during normal business hours.
