The Greenlee County "One Stop" Center offers free services to assist individuals
with securing employment as rapidly as possible. A sampling of such services includes:
- Computers for developing resumes, cover and thank you letters, searching the internet
for job leads, practicing or updating computer skills, and accessing local, state
and national job banks.
- Telephones, fax machines and copiers
- Assistance with registration for the Job Service program.
- Self-Improvement workshops.
- Access to labor market information and career resource library, and Sunday classified
ads.
- Referrals to local job openings.
- Referral to specialized program services for more individualized attention to special
needs. These programs typically have eligibility requirements that must be met in
order to qualify for services. Examples include the Job Training Partnership Act,
Trade Adjustment Assistance/NAFTA TAA, Vocational Rehabilitation, VETS Program,
and Title V Older Worker Programs.
